Phase 01

Data Capture & Scan

We combine on-site audits with the use of Sentinel satellites as a basis for project development.

Phase 02

Analysis & Calculation

The biomass of the forest is determined based on satellite data. The associated CO2 storage capacity is calculated externally by Chloris Geospatial.

Phase 03

Certification

We only certify what grows additionally thanks to our measures. We only emit approx. 55% of the total storage capacity of the forest. This corresponds to the approximate timber harvest rate of our forests.

Phase 04

Audit & Issuance

To ensure counterfeit protection and traceability of certificates, our certificates are issued as tokens on the blockchain. Every issuance is checked by auditors.

Phase 05

Retirement (Burning)

When you compensate CO₂, the token is irretrievably destroyed. You receive a greenkeeper compensation certificate that you can present to your auditors.

Forest protection does not end with the purchase. We monitor all areas permanently. Our change detection algorithms detect forest fires, alert you and forest owners, and automatically block affected forests from further sale.
