Our forests in transition.

The forest at Madenbergweg is a special place for the people of Weilheim. Help us combat ash dieback, store CO₂, and make the forest climate-resilient for the next 30 years.

To promote diversification and increase stock, targeted plantings on small areas are planned. Douglas firs, pedunculate oaks, European beeches, and wild cherry trees will be introduced.

The Fürstenberg Forest near Brabecke combines effective climate protection with biodiversity. By transforming spruce stands into stable mixed forests, a long-term CO₂ sink is created that withstands the challenges of climate change.

The Roitzsch forest estate is an ambitious project aimed at restoring former open-cast mining areas. Through near-natural management, we transform monotonous stands into structurally rich, biodiverse continuous forests and create valuable refuges for nature.

The goal is to strengthen ecological stability and resilience against climate extremes, as well as to significantly increase CO₂ storage capacity. With a standing timber volume of approx. 4,061 m³, the forest makes a valuable contribution to climate action and the preservation of regional biodiversity.

The Diersburg forest project supports the long-term development of structurally rich mixed forests in the Black Forest foothills. Through close-to-nature management, diverse continuous cover forests are created that promote biodiversity and permanently sequester carbon.

Through adapted management and soil-friendly harvesting, stable mixed forests with high ecological quality are being created. The goal is a resilient continuous cover forest that promotes biodiversity and permanently sequesters carbon.

The Steinenbach project forest is a long-term initiative for developing stable and diverse forests in the Black Forest foothills. Through close-to-nature, continuous management, existing stands are gradually transformed into climate-resilient mixed forests with continuous cover character.
